Matinee Musical Club of York
Matinee Musical Club of York

About Us

The Matinee Musical Club was formed in 1913 to recognize and encourage the development of musical talent and culture in the York, Pennsylvania area.  The Club provides a venue for adults and students to gain public performance experience.   The Matinee Musical Club has continued that goal by providing six recital venues each season where performing members can demonstrate their musical progress.

The Club is made up of adult members who either desire to perform or who wish to encourage others by their audience participation.

There is also a student division which provides younger members the opportunity to gain public performance eperience.  Sudents may compete their senior year of high school for a cash scholarship awarded in piano and voice or instrument performance.

We are always  happy to welcome new members who share our love of music and desire to  support Club members as they continue to grow and share their gift.

Our recital programs are open to the public.  If you would like to attend and learn more about our organization, you may check out the times and locations of our upcoming progrms on our calendar page.
